Re: os_printf with a char pointer parameter causes an exception

jcmvbkbc,

you beleive I have not tried without the dereferencing "star"?

Only, I agree with you that does take the pointer, not the dereferenced value like I described.
But in either case did not work for me.

os_printf with a char pointer parameter causes an exception

Hello, I am trying to debug some code and need to display the content of the char pointer. But everytime it gives an exception. static void ICACHE_FLASH_ATTR someCb(const char *data){ os_printf( "LED = %s", *data); } Fatal exception 28(LoadProhibitedCause): epc1=0x40245abe, epc2=0x00000000...

Documented pwm_init parameters , unclear period

Hi, Documentation of the function pwm_init claims that the parameter uint32 period is in fact PWM period. But actually when I set it to 1000 , I got the PWM output of ~1000 Hz which is the frequency. Period would mean 1/1000 -> 0.001s (1ms). Am I missing something or it is a wrong description?

Re: TSL Handshaking failed due to Error: Cert is self-signed

Not long after my post, I solved that problem with the server authentication which now works fine, still thank you Pratik, in particular for the suggestion of inserting it dynamically which is also good in a case of the certificate revocation. By the way, do you happen to know anything about the err...

TSL Handshaking failed due to Error: Cert is self-signed

Hi, following the procedure to establish a TSL communication found in the UserManual 5A-ESP8266_SDK_SSL v1.4 (the most recent I could get) a CA certificate in DER format is flashed to the ESP8266-01 at the location 7C (7C000). The certificate is of a self-signed type. Unfortunately, running the code...
