Re: CIPSENDBUF Buffer Size

You can do this with the AT commands. It is much more efficient to just send 1460 bytes at a time though.
Doesn't your host MCU have enough RAM to store 2048 bytes?

This is also possible to implement using nonOS or RTOS SDK for the ESP8266 or by adding custom AT commands.

Re: Baud Rate Change Attempt Bricks ESP-01

One suggestion was to connect TX to RX together and connect the power for two minutes.

I hope you didn't do this, its never a good idea and can kill a lot of MCUs that have totem pole outputs.

By the way, did you try baud rate of 74880 to see what the ESP8266 is printing out?

Re: Initialize flash memory portion in order to store my config file

To erase a sector or to store data in a sector, you can simply use the flash download tool. For example, if you burn a file called "data.bin" at address 0x020000, the data of the file will be placed at this location. If the size of your BIN file is 4kB, then you can fill one whole sector w...

Re: Auto Modem-sleep

Have you tried light sleep for your purpose? The station end works best with that.
70mA is way too high, seems like no sleep policy is active at all.

Re: esp8266 01 not respond some at comends

That is really weird, it all works on my end. Did you try any other module? Maybe the flash chip has faults or maybe the antenna isn't doing that well.

Re: ESP8285 custom board no Wifi on wakeup

This really should not be happening. The chip is fine I guess, ESD or other damages will usually affect the digital section too, so no way it is just the RF. What you have here seems like an RF circuit design issue to me. It might have something to do with board layout or maybe you have shorts under...

Re: ESP8266 suddenly boot fail, and never jump to 2nd boot or user code, help!

When you use your own OTA functions, make sure you checksum the flash. Also, do not try to upgrade boot.bin or touch system parameters area when you upgrade firmware. ONLY write to user1 or user2 area strictly. The latest boot BIN will first try user1.bin... is checksum is invalid, it will jump to u...

Re: esp8266 01 not respond some at comends

The firmware is way too old!

Please try the new ones from:
https://github.com/espressif/ESP8266_NO ... ter/bin/at

Note that minimum 8 Mbit system flash is needed for the latest AT firmware. If you are using less, let me know, I will send you 4 Mbit AT firmware files.

Re: I'm having an issue with TCP RST instead of FIN.

If you could get the serial data up on a monitor or just attach some photos of the most relevant parts of the log, it would be great. Do send me the wireshark logs on pratik [at] espressif.com I will patch the issue through to engineers. I do not have access to some confidential sources that drive t...

Re: AT+CIPSTART Not working with mbedtls

None that I know of yet, the new SDK has just been put up on GitHub.
I tried to compile mbedTLS sources myself and now the memory issues don't seem to show up. I did not use the libmbedtls.a provided with the mbedTLS project.
