Thanks for your response. We did a trace of the handshake using Wireshake with original V0.51 and after some trying, we manage to get it to work with the wireless printer. Not sure why we cant get it to work initially. It could be we did not wait long enough for the wifi printer to attach to the ESP8266. With the wireshark trace, at least we can see what it going on.

With best regards,
hhc

I did the configuration of modules from AT COMMAND activating the UART with the same BAUD RATE, but I can't stablish the communication sending and receiving data. The two ESP connection is OK.
In short I need build a bridge between the ESP with UART.
Can someone help me?

Sorry that we can not duplicate your problem.

What is this "WiFi device" ? Maybe we can buy one to have a try.

Or could you provide the captured WiFi packets for debugging ?

The softAP has been set to 192.168.111.1
The device is statically set to 192.168.111.88
Windows 7 static IP is 192.168.111.77
Mobile phone IP can be seen in AT+CWLIF as 192.168.111.2

How do you know the connection failed ?

The default IP of ESP8266 softAP is 192.168.4.1, is your station's static IP to be 192.168.4.X ?

We have been trying to get a wifi device to connect to ESP8266 softAP but fail. How do we troubleshoot this ?
Windows 7 (static IP) and mobile phone (DHCP) connection to the softAP is ok, only this particular device. This device connects without issue to a normal access point. It uses static IP.

Best regards.
