Yes, I mean, using an ESP8266 to extend my router coverage. I'd connect my laptop to the ESP and it will connect to the router and give access to internet.

What do you mean about "bridge AP"?

sta1 -> [softAP ESP8266 station] -> router -> internet.

In the case above, sta1 can not access to the internet through ESP8266.

Is it possible to use the ESP8266 as bridge-AP? If it does...script of AT commands?
