I am trying to understand the meaning of the acronyms in the "AT" commands. (for instance, in AT+CIPSEND I know that "AT" originates from ATtention in the original Hayes command set. and "Send" is obvious of course...).

But what does CIP stand for? "Connection-InternetProtocol" is my closest guess?

and what about "CW"? "Connection Wireless"?


I can't figure it out. Thanks!
