Hi,

Download and unzip esp_iot_sdk, in folder "examples", folder "IOT Demo".

The source code marked by "AP_CACHE" shows an example of select an AP recorded by ESP8266.

ESP8266 will record 5 APs' information at most, wifi_station_ap_change can use to AP selection.

I wonder if anyone who has done this can help. I program my ESP8266 devices in C. I've been having some issues with weak signal recently and it would be really nice to have a list of acceptable access points and their passwords - and have the ESP, if it loses the signal, check the list (including identical SSIDs) and reconnect.

Has anyone done this already and if so would they care to share code?
