It seems that you are not using the AT commands provided by our company, Espressif Systems.

Would you like to have a try with our AT firmware ? You can download it from http://bbs.espressif.com/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=1123.

Thanks for your interest in ESP8266 !

AT+RSTERROR

AT+GMRR2A07(R2A07)

OK
ATOK
ATEOK
ATE1OK
ATEOK
AT+CWMODE=?ERROR
AT+RESTOREERROR
AT+UART_CURERROR
AT+RFVDDERROR

It's just the same. I don't think it's that simple.
I obviously got a connection, but no basic AT command seems to work.
Flashing with an other FW doesn't work either.

Kind regards
Eric

It should be "AT+GMR" "AT+RST", not "at+gmr" "at+rst".

There are documentations about AT commands: http://bbs.espressif.com/viewtopic.php?f=51&t=1022

What I got under coolterm is this:

*EMRDY: 1

*EMRDY: 1
atOK
at+gmrR2A07(R2A07)

OK
at+rstERROR
at+gslpERROR
ateOK
at+cwmode=?ERROR
at+cipstart=?ERROR
at+cmd?ERROR
ateOK
ate1OK
at+rstERROR

So ... every AT command returns an error (except at, ate and at+gmr)
And the answer from gmr is quite strange, I didn't find any hint on the net.

Can you give me some hints? I don't believe all 5 chips are broken, they all behave the same way, so the mistake must be on my side.

Kind regards from Germany
Eric
