Theoretically, you use two ESP8266 write this firmware, A module and B module are respectively.
You login WEB configuration page on module A, enter the SSID and password of module B, A join B's AP.
When the join AP is successful, between the module A and module B built up a serial transmission channel.

But I haven't time to test this. You can try it.

chinese happy springfestival was 19 feb 2015 and the holiday are just in time, think 1-2 weeks
