I'm using an ESP8266 with RTOS 1.4 and my question is the following:

I need to store some permanent data within the flash memory so I can retrieve it after every reboot. The fact is that I've been trying spiffs with no success (moreover I think to store 30 bytes, which is what I need, is too complicated). I tried also to figure out any document explaining the flash memory map but I did not find the right one for me (I found a lot of info but I'm still "in the dark")

Could please anyone post a link to a document or explain in few words the memory map, partitions and where to store my 30 bytes?

Thanks in advance!

P.S: Really SPIFFS is a pain in the ass!!!
