Hi, has this problem been resolved yet? I am also looking for a GPIO clock speed issue, it's sad that the CPU can be clocked to 80MHz but I am limited to ~6MHz. Please advice some solution anyone.

No, I have not been able.
Lack of cooperation from Espressif is a major setback.

After extensive tests, it appears that the GPIO speed is limited at ~6 mhz, and this, even with direct register toggling.
This speed does not change regardless of CPU speed (80 mhz or 160 mhz).

This leads me to think that the GPIO clock might be controlled by some divider along the line.
If so, is there any way to adjust that clock? Perhaps a special register that affects/controls the speed of the GPIO?
