MESH_SOFTAP - can be set only at one node otherwise all nodes try to be root

I have modify esp-mesh demo according this post:
viewtopic.php?t=2824&start=10

and it seams to work ok

but when I try to change mode to SoftAP mesh according:

Each node provide, as respected, AP but they do not create mesh network(according usar logs).

I need to create isolated mesh network that give AP for connecting to it from outside. How to do it using esp-mesh.
