I have the same issue. Specifically the example at works on a NodeMCU 12E but not on an ESP-01. I've had other code that associates with the same AP on the ESP-01 using the Arduino framework so I believe the ESP-01 H/W is working properly.

Perhaps related to this, other frameworks I have explored require a board definition (PlatformIO, Arduino) but I don't see that in the ESP8266-RTOS-SDK. Is that covered in `make menuconfig` or am I missing something here?

Hi all,

I am using ESP8266 latest SDK ver 3.4. I have written a code that will join an AP. The code runs on ESP8266 Devkit but not on the ESP01 module. On both modules, the code can scan all the wifi access point but ESP01 cant seem to connect to the AP. On the ESP8266 Devkit, it manage to join the AP. Any one experience this before and what could be the possbile issues?
