Also, there is no separate power rail for battery backed RAM (it is just intended to keep data during deep sleep mode).

Does ESP-WOORM-02 pcb include some kind of RTC (Real Time Clock) and/or RAM, connected to battery or supercap in case of knowing time and storing settings at powerfailure event?

Sincerely,
Marko

[W]sec fd error
[W]sec fd error
[W]sec fd error
[W]sec fd error
[W]sec fd error
[W]sec fd error

after this we are not able to reconnect to network or OTA or basically we not able to operate this esp chip anymore

But whenever we use the flash tool to re-download the files its getting recover but without using flash download tools is there any API to solve this issue

We chose ESP8266 but we don't have any experience with Wifi (ESP8266) and we are overloaded with programming basic functions on our microcontroller (TI). Therefore, I'm looking for an external programmer with ESP experience to help us add Wifi functionality (station mode, connect to AP) fast and easy. That means, to help us, via Skype / VSEE / other / email setting up the right development environment (SDK? IDE? Probably several bugs will occur during installation) and also to help us with the actual coding of the Wifi functionality (ESP as Wifi adaptor, probably over UART and probably non-OS).

If interested, pls send us your references (past projects done?) and the budget (hourly tariff and time needed?) you require to help us to set up the development environment , send us starting code for our microcontroller and then help us to adapt our code and answer our questions (be standby during specific days).

Contact:
ProbablyTheBestProgrammers@gmail.com

Thanks,
Walter

I've seen your youtube video. This project is very interesting. ESP8266 has endless possibilities.

Maybe you'd like to have a look to our PainlessMesh library for ESP8266 with Arduino IDE. It is quite easy to use and probably it may fit you project quite well.

It is available on https://gitlab.com/BlackEdder/painlessMesh

Some documentation and a couple examples are included there.

If you like it (and if you don't) please send me as many comments as you think in order to improve it.

Un saludo,
Germán

I have attempted this with the firmware and was able to only get 1 TCP socket sending at 50ms intervals with a few hiccups every few minutes of 500+ms gap between messages. The 500ms+ hiccup is the main problem, as this defeats the purpose of my live data streaming.

The streaming data can hiccup but no longer then 100ms. (the less the better)
The application needs to stream live data preferably 200Hz+ with packets around 20-100 Bytes each packet.
Preferably have the above two working with multiple devices (up to 2 or 3) connected to the same AP at once.
The ESP8266 will be used on both the AP and STA end of the WiFi connection.

please contact george@farmscanag.com if interested.

Thank you,
George

We have resolved the way to create a Cascaded network using several ESP8266

If you want to see the system working watch this video, in Spanish.. it will be translated into English soon

https://youtu.be/9vDUUGPt484

In this video you can see several networks...

a) One called PASILLO_IZQUIERDO. We have an ESP8266 working both as AP and STA. As AP runs 4 TCP servers listening to 4 different ports ... Then 4 different ESP8266 connect to the servers sending data from a DHT11 sensor
As STA connects to a higher node called PLANTA using a new TCP connection

b) One called PASILLO_DERECHO, working the same way as PASILLO_IZQUIERDO does

c) Now we have a new node called PLANTA, in a higher level,working as well both as AP and STA. This node runs 4 different TCP servers, who could connect to 4 different PASILLO nodes, whereby we can connect up to 16 DHT11 sensors

Then, this node connects as STA to a router ( not needed ) that creates a new network called IESLASLAGUNAS

d) We have a PC connected to IESLASLAGUNAS WiFI network and therefore to PLANTA node. The PC run a server, and PLANTA node connects to it as a client. The PC runs a sketch in Processing, so you must see the 8 sensors sending data simultaneously. The payload is i.e,

"3eEM:000123T25H11·

3eE is the DHT11 node identifier ( red and yellow boxes are DHT11 nodes )
M:000123 is merely a simple counter, identifying the number of measure. Useful to check if we lose any packet
T:25 temperatyre
H:34 humidity

You can see the eight nodes watch the data identifiers ... "3eB" "3eC" "3eD" ·3eE" and so on for "4eB"...

We can cascade as many higher nodes as we desire, between PLANTA node and the PC. A new one could give us up to 64 DHT11 sensors! And a new one 256 and so on. Every added node multiply by 4 the number of terminal nodes

Thats all, an impressive job. My students and I made the whole project. We would like you to rise your thumbs by us

We set out to provide a platform to connect _any_ type of IoT device. Thus we opensource our platform.

So far we have:

* hardware reference designs (including esp8266)
* firmware (including esp8266)
* cloud
* app
* Continous integration buildchain for -dev teams (git)
* Over-the-air firmware upgrades
* Management of modules (including firmware rollouts)

We believe opensource gives the best opportunity to share efforts. We think that there should not be a need to re-develop apps and cloud servers every time one creates an IoT enabled device.

We invite IoT makers to have a look, join and benefit from what we got already.

Feedback is also very welcome.

some projects (Open AP for Information) are not possible with this limit.

Espressif should change this. Let the developer decide by setting limit.

The only problem I'm facing with 8266 is that the soft AP is restricted to 4, which means simultaneously only 4 users can be connected.
Please suggest what should I do if the numbers of users to be connected is more than 50.
Thank you

Hi,

interesting, i am from Wolfsburg ...

But i am searching for production capabilities, plants who can immediatly start production and have skills to fix small design errors in regard to assembly. And of course for low budget.

i am searching for a reliable service that can build prototype PCBs for me. Quantity 100-500 pcs for firmware testing.
Job includes panelization, pcb from gerber, component sourcing, high quality smt-assembly, (pre)flashing.
Should be experienced with ESP8266 and surrounding components including flashing, and of course cheap and reliable.

Any recommendations?
