Re: source and NDA

Ok thanks.
Are there any parts of the 'blobs' that are open sourced with a NDA ?

Even a more detailed technical overview of how beacons/probes/QOS management messages are implemented ...

for very low power applications, its nice to be able to know the exact way the stack works

thanks

source and NDA

Hi
Just checking if it is still possible to get access to the source code for parts of the wifi stack. Dont mind using a NDA

thanks

blob source code

Hi all

Just wondering if there has been any update on release of source code for the various blobs in the SDK. I see that lwip has source now but I would also like to understand the beacon/probe processing better of the wifi stack

thanks

Re: Packet injection

Hi This has come up a few times over here and I really think better programatic access is needed to make better, more customised products based on the ESP. As an interim, if you dont release the source, then how about a wrapper layer over the ieee_* so that packets can be sent also.... please please...

Re: New FEATURES gathering

Publish source for all the blobs --- or at least the wifi / 80211 ones so at least we can figure out what is going on

Re: Testing Current Consumption using datalogger....

Ok, its becoming a but clearer now..... Same test again ---- with a packet sniffer running (on separate machine) to see what is flying around.... As you can see from the wireshark trace, there are lots of wifi mgt packets (subtype 36) --- about 400 of these in the 2-3mins the test is running -- the ...

Re: Testing Current Consumption using datalogger....

Hi all Just to note that 100ms is the sample rate of the datalogger....so each of the very thin lines is a sample.... The steady state is about .0175 - roughly from the graph. The things I am trying to understand are: - what are the peaks to 0.07 and 0.03 --- IMHO - I believe that they are either pr...

Testing Current Consumption using datalogger....

Hi folks attached is the output of a datalogger which is capturing the current used by the ESP module (ESP001). It logs the current at 100millisec intervals for about 3000 samples which is approx 5 mins Config is using a ESP001, running 095 SDK and latest nodemcu/lua firmware. The data above was col...
