access point settings

Hi,

why is it not allowed to change access point settings while the access point is not activated ?

Please make it possible that users can change this settings from station connections - when AP is deactivated, because its not needed when device has a station connection.

Re: SDK Firmware Update clears boot sector

Yes, i am using the code provided by Espressif for FOTA. (ESP SDK, but server code is my own - have you released any?) Currently the problem is under observation. I think its a bug in your SDK. If server response answer to the Firmware Query with method HEAD and/or GET comes to fast it produces boot...

Re: Dead ESP

It LOOKs like it was not RBOOT after all.. 2. After my initialisation of ports - and other stuff - I finally called a routine to do with WIFI.... wifi_set_opmode(0); and that was fine until SDK 1.54 - after that - I'm getting no serial output (other than the 78k startup stuff) UNTIL that function i...

RFInit mode

Why is it not possible to select mode 2 in the ESP-Flash Tool? In the past months i always flashed value 2 here. On which base should i decide to use mode LoadRFCalParam, TXPWRCtrl in init or FullRFCal in RFInit ? Can i change this mode by SDK when device is at customer? If yes, how to do the RFCal-...

Use maximum for user.bin

Why not putting the rf_cal_sector at the end of the first partition as default? Then the cfg sectors (5+user) can be balanced in 1st and 2nd partition. Partition 1: (1 for RF+3 user) Partition 2:(4 Blocks for sdk and boot selection). May be then the code in user_rf_cal_sector_set can be cutted.

Re: delete an station record

Hello, thanks for your reply. This means: - fresh flashed SDK starts without Station records - thats my observation - Station record 1 is added and used by user if he connects to new station - Station record 2 is added and used by user if he connects to new station - Station record 3 is added and us...

delete an station record

Hi, my code should use 5 slots for station storage. Is it ok to set this number in user init ? Or is it default? (wifi_station_ap_number_set(5); ) Is there a function to delete or empty an unwanted station record in the array? (if customer wants to reduce from 5 stored stations to 2)? Or should i ma...

Re: Number of users connected limited

Yes,

some projects (Open AP for Information) are not possible with this limit.

Espressif should change this. Let the developer decide by setting limit.
