Re: Math lib

There also ports worth trying:

https://github.com/anakod/esp_microc
https://github.com/SuperHouse/esp-open-rtos (newlib with patch for threadsafe)

In the latest RTOS SDK, text are placed in IROM section by default. It's a nice thing :D

Re: Math lib

Hi,

I did not use the non-RTOS SDK but recently updated of RTOS one include an irom version of libm. I think the non-RTOS SDK should be the same.

https://github.com/espressif/esp_iot_rtos_sdk/

NEW VERSION: 1.0.4

1. memory optimize;
2. add irom version libm.a: libmirom.a;

Re: SPI master RTOS SDK example wanted

Hi,

The non-RTOS SDK has example for driving I2C bus in Master mode, it can be applied to the RTOS SDK with some minor changes I believe.

Re: Use all of the 512 kbyte of the 4M flash

Hi, I think you can do it by changing irom0_0_seg size. Reserve several blocks for flash.bin, depends on its size e.g 0x4000. Then your irom0_0_seg max size can be: 512KB - 16KB (system param) - flash.bin size (e.g. 16Kb) = 0x78000 irom0_0_seg : org = 0x40204000, len = 0x78000 Beware of 'org = 0x402...

Re: [FLASH] User data storage

Hi, The memory map can be referred here: https://github.com/esp8266/esp8266-wiki/wiki/Memory-Map Also, in the "2A-ESP8266__IOT_SDK_User_Manual__EN", there mentioned a flash area called "user data" which is safe to read and write your own data. For the problem of bricking device w...
