Unable to set static IP

I am trying to configure ESP8266 with static IP but somehow the IP gateway is changing automatically to some invalid value. IP configuration I want to set: IP: 192.168.1.100 Mask: 255.255.255.0 GW: 192.168.1.254 But when I print the ip configuration I get back this: IP: 192.168.1.100 Mask: 255.255.2...

RTOS_SDK: system crash in ieee80211_output_pbuf

After a lot of fixing I am able to compile lwip (mostly missing function prototype declarations). Anyways... I enabled SO_REUSE and with my mdns responder library system crashes as soon as I try to do dns_sd discovery. Other device operation works fine. I am able to run NTP library, basic tcp data t...

RTOS_SDK: Unable to compile lwip

I am unable to compile lwip source provided in RTOS SDK. I am using the latest master branch. I want to enable SO_REUSE for my application. If possible someone please enable it and provide liblwip.a to me.

Unable to boot after moving to RTOS SDK 1.5.0

My Application works perfectly with RTOS SDK 1.4 but stopped working as I moved to 1.5.0. The only change I made is added "user_rf_cal_sector_set" which I just copied from default project template. I am flashing blank.bin to 0x7E000 and esp_init_data_default.bin to 0x7C000. Just for record...

Re: ESP8266 lwip IP_FORWARD/routing

well looks like its not possible :) maybe I will have to implement something to transfer packets between station and softap. I still wonder what IP_FORWARD of lwip does :?

Re: ESP8266 lwip IP_FORWARD/routing

I don't understand what you're trying to do with routing. For routing you need two LAYER 3 interfaces. The esp8266 has only one. Out of the box it can't use multiple SSIDs nor VLAN tags, so??? Aren't you confusing routing with bridging? An access point usually can be configured to enable or disable...

Re: ESP8266 lwip IP_FORWARD/routing

I am using this source template: Open source LWIP for esp_iot_sdk_v1.3.0 and enabled IP_FORWARD which as per lwip suppose to make stack to route packet between networks. /** * IP_FORWARD==1: Enables the ability to forward IP packets across network * interfaces. If you are going to run lwIP on a devi...

ESP8266 lwip IP_FORWARD/routing

Recently Espressif has released lwip source for SDK 1.3.0 Thank you so much for this... Now my setup is like this: pc<->router<->(sta)esp(ap)<->esp2(sta) I want to ping esp2 from my pc. I enabled IP_FORWARD in lwipopts.h and rebuild sdk. esp2 connects to esp (also connected to router). But I am not ...

Re: math functions

Thanks, I already have libm.a I compiled toolchain myself, I even tried the one you shared. But the problem is iram0 section getting overflowed > 0x8000 Which is the limit of ESP8266. I think simply compiling libm with application does not solve the problem. So I change the question... Is it possibl...

Driver lib not updated for RTOS SDK

The IRQ attach function prototype has changed and expects 3 arguments whereas driver lib calls with 2 arguments. I pushed a patch on git hub for driver lib error.
