Re: GPIO Maximum current Imax

@Espressif_Kelly You said that "sink current is greater than 12mA." - do you have a figure for how much current can be sunk per pin?

Many thanks,
Ben

Re: SDK Layout & use in other projects

I think these are all very sensible suggestions - I'd also love to see less patching and just do more regular versioned releases. There's a lot of room for error with patching. Given that you already have code on GitHub, maybe just keep all development of the SDK there and just use their releases fu...

Re: Replacing USR232-T

I too have made a move away from the USR modules and found the ESP to be great. If you're looking to do transparent serial to socket conversion then there are a few options for putting your own firmware on the devices (the improvement to USR is that you can actually develop your own firmware to do e...

Re: Get RSSI of current station?

@Espressif_Faye Thanks for responding - shame it requires a full scan, but thanks for letting me know. Consider it a feature request that it would be nice to be able to get the RSSI of the current AP without having to do a scan.
Many thanks,
Ben

Re: Get RSSI of current station?

@jayc75 unfortunately that AT command just uses a scan behind the scenes and filters the results. What I'm looking for is the ability to read out the RSSI of the currently joined access point without having to perform a wifi scan.

Could someone from Espressif weigh in please?

Re: 2 new importants requirements in AT firmware

Following up on the first part of the original question; I too would like to be able to disable the DHCP client on the STATION interface and supply a static IP address. It doesn't look like this information gets saved anywhere because when I call wifi_station_dhcpc_stop(), when I restart the DHCP cl...

Re: Get RSSI of current station?

Thanks @doughboy, although I should have also mentioned I was looking to get the C code for doing this. I've looked at the source for that AT command and it looks like it still does a full scan to get that information, it just filters the output if you enter a SSID. Does anyone from Espressif know i...

Get RSSI of current station?

Hi,
I was wondering if it is possible to be able to read the RSSI of the station that the ESP is currently connected to? I know I can do a scan for all stations, but I was wondering if it possible without doing a scan?
Thanks,
Ben

Re: boot_v1.1.bin source available?

That sounds great! Will I be able to set the memory location of the user1 and user2 firmware sections and the library sections? Will this be in the next SDK version?
Thanks,
Ben

Does anybody from Espressif have any thoughts on this?
