Re: ESP8266 2MB + OTA

Hi,

Yes, I select the 16Mbit flash when I download the firmware.
My user data selection is from @0x100000 to @0x1FC000 (like defined in the IOT SDK USER MANUAL).

Re: SDK 2.1 ligth sleep mode

Hi, Here is the function : bool ICACHE_FLASH_ATTR UART_CheckOutputFinished(uint8 uart_no, uint32 time_out_us) { uint32 t_start = system_get_time(); uint8 tx_fifo_len; uint32 tx_buff_len; while(1){ tx_fifo_len =( (READ_PERI_REG(UART_STATUS(uart_no))>>UART_TXFIFO_CNT_S)&UART_TXFIFO_CNT); if(pTxBuf...

Re: ESP8266 2MB + OTA

If I use the linker for 1MB (512+512), it seems to work ! I have the bootloader for 16Mbit (512 + 512) and I can use OTA to flash firmware and automatically jump to user 1 or user 2, and have a user data flash at the end (from @0x100000 to @0x1FC000). But, why I must use the 1MB linker ? The linker ...

ESP8266 2MB + OTA

Hello everyone, I'm using an ESP-WROOM-02 (ESP8266 + 2MB of SPI flash). I'm trying to do OTA tests with mode 512KB + 512KB, to have 1024KB of user data (I have some data do store into flash and I don't want to erase them with OTA, user data stored at @ 0x100000). I build my first firmware (V1) with ...

SDK 2.1 ligth sleep mode

Hello, I'm using the new SDK 2.1 since this morning. Until the new sdk (using the SDK 2.0), I was able to use the light sleep mode by doing this : void fpm_wakup_cb(void) { wifi_fpm_close(); // disable force sleep function wifi_set_opmode(STATION_MODE); // set station mode wifi_station_connect(); //...
