14 pinned topics, really?

Does this forum really need 14 pinned posts that always show up at the top? Can't find the recent discussions without scrolling down like crazy... Please unpin some of these... Thanks!

Re: wifi_set_listen_interval is counter-productive

Here are two scope screen shots that illustrate the problem. First with sleep-level=1, I annotated the light-sleep, modem-sleep, radio-receive, and radio-transmit power levels. The horizontal divisions are 500ms long and you can clearly see how the radio RX turns on every 100ms, which is the beacon ...

wifi_set_listen_interval is counter-productive

I am trying to use sleep-type LIGHT_SLEEP with a large listen interval (5..8) and while "it works" it actually seems to raise the power consumption. What I see from power measurements is that indeed the radio only wakes up every N beacons it often remains in modem_sleep for entire interval...

flashing 512KB modules with boot_v1.5.bin fails

When flashing an esp8266 with 512KB flash there is a problem. The very first boot tries to launch user1.bin, but after that it's stuck trying to launch user2.bin. If the user flashes everything in one go then this is OK, but if the user first flashes the bootloader, then resets the device, and then ...

Re: What's V2.0.0???

I highly recommend looking into semantic versioning. Seems like you're assigning version numbers randomly... The release notes are about as clear as mud, they only give a hint in which area something may have changed and don't really explain what.

[feedback] What's V2.0.0???

What does it mean that the latest SDK jumped from V1.5.4 to V2.0.0? Do you use semantic versioning? If so, which incompatible changes were made? If not, what is the significance? Was 1.6 too boring a number? Will there be continued support and patches for the v1.x series?

Re: SDK 1.5.3 and liblwip_536

We are going to release the new version SDK, ESP8266_NONOS_SDK_V1.5.4 which will have the liblwip_536.

Thanks! I'm eagerly awaiting 1.5.4 :-)

SDK 1.5.3 and liblwip_536

SDK 1.5.3 is missing liblwip_536.a, can you please provide it? It's pretty critical in memory constrained firmwares that need to support many connections. Thank you!
(Is there a reason you're leaving out of every SDK version?)
