Lost connectivity and device names on all accounts

On or about January 15th - 16th all my devices lost connectivity with the server. They were under different accounts, at different locations, in different networks - all lost connection to the server suddenly after many months of working properly. At the same time, suddenly the app can no longer dow...

Re: Wifi radio not working

Just thought of one other thing. Are you monitoring the UART serial communications to debug what your code is doing? There is some discussion in another thread about the parameters of deep sleep being reset to default under certain conditions. I have no idea if this might apply to your situation, bu...

Re: Wifi radio not working

I had a similar problem where after a while it would simply stop connecting to my network. I found that it was related to the power supply I used at the time of flashing the chip. I used a more robust, stable power supply during flashing the chip and my connectivity issues went away. I do not know a...

Re: 【BETA】esp_iot_sdk_v0.9.6_b1 released !

Faye, I have never used or tested the deep sleep function because I don't need it for my application. I notice the Mem Check Fail message when I power up my ESP module from a power supply that had lower than expected voltage. So I changed to a power supply that is more stable and the problem went aw...

Re: 【BETA】esp_iot_sdk_v0.9.6_b1 released !

My apologies to the group for re-posting my message. Apparently my browser cache was not updating and I did not see all the subsequent posts (and my original post). It just updated and I saw all the new posts.

Re: 【BETA】esp_iot_sdk_v0.9.6_b1 released !

It doesn't appear that my previous post went up on this issue, but for me I discovered that the mem check fail error turned out to be a power supply related issue. Using a better power supply fixed the problem for me.

Re: 【BETA】esp_iot_sdk_v0.9.6_b1 released !

I discovered moments ago that in my case the "mem check fail" error was due to power supply issues. I strongly advise anyone else experiencing this error to check the stability of their power supply.

Re: 【BETA】esp_iot_sdk_v0.9.6_b1 released !

I don't always get this. Sometimes yes. Sometimes no. You can see the SDK version and the error code. ▒`▒ՁMEM CHECK FAIL!!! ▒r, SDK version:0.9.6(b1) IOT VERSION = b1.0.1t45772(a) mode : sta(18:fe:34:9c:52:91) + softAP(1a:fe:34:9c:52:91) add if0 dhcp server start:(ip:192.168.4.1,mask:255.255.255.0,g...

Debug tool request

Forgive me if this question is a basic one, but can you please suggest how to get more information displayed in the UART messages about the POST and GET requests? The IoT_Demo code currently prints "We have a POST request.", or "We have a GET request". It would be very useful for...
