C++11 lambda = SECTION `.TEXT' WILL NOT FIT IN REGION `IRAM1

I work with the latest NONOS_SDK from github (https://github.com/espressif/ESP8266_NONOS_SDK), so no Arduino. I also work with C++, which worked fine for me so far. Until recently I wasn't using any new features of C++11 (which the compiler is capable of I think). But I tried to do this: int32_t ICA...

Replace old compiler from crosstool-NG

Hi everyone,

I am wondering, the current compiler on the crosstool-NG repository on Github beeing from 2013, if there is a more recent version of that compiler? If not, is it possible to use the gcc / g++ to replace the xtensa one?

ESP8266 in crash loop - SDK v3.0

I installed crosstools-NG successfully after fixing some bugs (I had the same problems as this guy here: https://github.com/esp8266/esp8266-wiki/issues/74). After that I downloaded the latest SDK (v3.0) from GitHub like this: cd /opt/esp8266 && wget --no-check-certificate -O esp8266_nonos_sd...

ESP8266 Sleep - Connect to Wifi - Send HTTP - Sleep again

Hi,

i would like to use the ESP8266 to measure some data via a sensor every 60 seconds and send that data via a http get request to my webserver. Then i want the esp8266 to sleep again for 60s before it does the same thing again. How could i accomplish this?

Best regards

Re: `.text' will not fit in region `iram1_0_seg'

-DICACHE_FLASH
after
CFLAGS = -I.
in the Makefile did it for me.

Re: `.text' will not fit in region `iram1_0_seg'

That didn't help, i added: LOCAL void ICACHE_FLASH_ATTR in front of all my functions but the message is still the same: xtensa-lx106-elf-gcc -I. -mlongcalls -c -o sensor.o sensor.c xtensa-lx106-elf-gcc -Teagle.app.v6.ld sensor.o -nostdlib -Wl,--start-group -lmain -lnet80211 -lwpa -llwip -lpp -lphy -...

Conflict between "uart.c" and "user_interface.h"

Hi, if i import both "uart.c" and "user_interface.h" in my project i get this error messages: In file included from sensor.c:12:0: /home/test/Desktop/opt/esp-open-sdk/xtensa-lx106-elf/xtensa-lx106-elf/sysroot/usr/include/include/user_interface.h:92:6: error: conflicting types for...

Re: `.text' will not fit in region `iram1_0_seg'

Hi and thanks for your reply, could you tell me where i find the LD-files and how i should modify them? SDK is 2.0.0_16_08_10, i use the esp-open-sdk on debian 8.6 64-bit. I moved the libgcc.a file from: esp-open-sdk/ESP8266_NONOS/lib/ to esp-open-sdk/xtensa-lx106-elf/lib/gcc/xtensa-lx106-elf/4.8.5 ...

Re: ESP8266 Reset because of gpio pin toggle?

It looks like it is not allowed to attach .bin files in this forum. I uploaded the files to an external website:
