Re: is the FreeRTOS SDK alive?

If you accepted some of the pull requests on github then maybe you would get some help. As it stands, only a fool would create another pull request....

Re: Uart driver with transmit buffer & interrupt

Cool, thanks, looking forward to it! I fixed-up the uart.c that comes with the FreeRTOS SDK (https://github.com/jeelabs/esp8266-bridge/blob/master/driver/uart.c if anyone cares) but stopped short of adding TX interrupt support. I'm using 115200baud and I realized that with a 128 char buffer I can si...

Re: No more than 2-3 packets/sec from the ESP8266?

Are you sure, because I did try the new beta firmware and didn't see a difference. Also, the FreeRTOS system is so much better, how do I get the claimed fix into that? Is it in the closed-source libraries?

FreeRTOS SDK - sources don't match built libraries?

While the ESP is running and connected it prints debug messages such as the following ones out: rm match reconnect scandone add 0 aid 2 aid end cnt After some searching "scandone" shows up in libnet80211.a and "aid end" shows up in libpp.a. What do these messages mean? Can I turn...

Re: No more than 2-3 packets/sec from the ESP8266?

FYI, I switched to the FreeRTOS SDK and it has none of the problems I've encountered. It's sooooo much better. The std SDK is also seriously broken when it comes to flow-control, the semantics of espconn_recv_hold are a joke. Please, please put your energy behind the rtos SDK!

FreeRTOS SDK - LWIP_PLATFORM_ASSERT broken

The LWIP_PLATFORM_ASSERT macro uses os_printf, which doesn't seem to exist at all in the esp_iot_rtos_sdk

FreeRTOS SDK - changing the uart

How can I change the UART used by the closed source parts in the esp_iot_rtos_sdk for error messages? I am connecting the UART to some other device and can't see the output, I only see what's printed via uart1 (to gpio2). For example, on uart1 I see a problem: Fatal exception (20): epc1=0x00000000 e...

No more than 2-3 packets/sec from the ESP8266?

I can't get more than 2-3 packets/sec or 2.8-4.2KB/s out of the ESP8266 via TCP. The bandwidth is of concern, but the latency even more for me. Basically, I can't send a packet more frequently than every ~350ms-400ms. I wrote a simple test program that accepts TCP connections and sends a small buffe...

is the FreeRTOS SDK alive?

Is https://github.com/espressif/esp_iot_rtos_sdk alive or has this project been abandoned by Espressif?
