Hi FMuller! I wanted to chime in again to at least let you there are eyes on your post. I'm running up for implementing SSL for the 8266 here pretty shortly as I recall there are a few API calls that are needed and an SSL Base64key needing to be injected into the C Source code. I may be wrong on thi...
Thanks for your reply AgentSmithers! I was actually just able to figure out what was going on. Turned out that the OTA example provided by ESP works just fine. The issue was coming from the fact that the flash we were using wasn't 4MBytes but 4Mbits... The chip had been selected before I started wo...
Hi FMuller, Sadly I'm a NONOS SDK guy so I don't have any insight on this one. But if things don't get moving for you or you don't resolve it in a week, I'll come check back here and we can do a remote session to get another set of eyes on it for you.

https://datasheets.maximintegrated.com/en/ds/DS1302.pdf So, One of the issues I am trying to tackle is a problem with Battery Usage. I have a thought about maybe pairing up the ESP8266 with this chip and have it hold the RTC but the ESP even in deepsleep only takes 20UA where the DS1302 takes just u...
I finished this, After getting to the last 3000 bytes I start scanning for the Mime Border at the footer and then I chop it off. Works perfectly for when someone is transferring one file.

Thank you for coming back and leaving a trail.
Update: Got it.. I had to flip my bits so Flash writes correctly then after I read the type, shift the bits over by 3 then pull the actual value acordingly. Start -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Address now at: 70000 Buffer00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF Writing: FD FF FF FF FF FF FF ...
I resolved it. It was because erase_sector takes a 2 digit sector number vs. an actual address.. If you want include upgrade.h and take the address and divide it by SPI_FLASH_SEC_SIZE. spi_flash_erase_sector(0x60000/SPI_FLASH_SEC_SIZE); =====>>>>> spi_flash_erase_sector(0x60); Thanks anyways! =] Aft...
Hi Everyone!! I believe I have a simple error and wanted to reach out to see what it may be. It appears after the write spi_flash_write it returns success but does not return the correct values. The whole idea of this function is to allow me to push and pop variables like booleans and char arrays. A...

Hi everyone! I'll tell you. This whole ESP stuff has been quite an expereice.. Long story short... The two chips look physically the same but only one supports QIO and QOUT and BOTH support DIO and DOUT... DIO is faster so use that! I resolved it by setting osboxes@osboxes Main]$ esptool.py --baud 1...
