HTTP File Upload

Hi Everyone! I hope everyone had great Holidays! I am currently working on crafting logic to handle a file upload using the ESP8266 as a Webserver (C NON-OS SDK). So, While wrapping my head around the protocol it seems pretty straight forward. It sends the HTTP header with a Content-length and a bin...

Re: Support for WPA2 Enterprise EAP-PWD

Since I don't see any progress here... Is there a way to implement EAP-PWD (or any other EAP method) within the user application code? If I understand the WPA2 4-Way handshake right, it doesn't care about the EAP method used. At the end of the EAP auth you always get a PMK that is used for the WPA2...

High Level Logic of an HTTP Server on 8266

Hi Everyone! This forum is slowly withering away and I hope I can still catch someone knowledgeable about this subject. When programming a Socket for the ESP there are so far about two things that are on my radar when I'm coding the Data Received function. 1: Which client sent the data It seems the ...

Re: Identifying Clients from one another

*Bump* I'm at a point where I'm stuck as I need to resolve this issue as I need to in order to move forward. Thanks for any pointers! Another example of this https://github.com/scottjgibson/esp8266/blob/master/esp_iot_sdk_v0.6/include/espconn.h LOCAL void ICACHE_FLASH_ATTR WebServerConn_recv_callbac...

Identifying Clients from one another

Hi Everyone! What is the best way to be able to identify a TCP client from one another? I am creating a TCP Server where clients are sending me request that is trigging the recv function. However, I want to be able to identify each client by it's TCP socket so I can take action on it when data is re...

Backing up settings from READ_PERI_REG

Anyone have a sniblet or any recommendations for restoring the PIN function after being overwritten with PIN_FUNC_SELECT. I would like to restore its function if the pin fails to detect it on that particular GPIO so it does not interrupt anything else going on the pin after it's restored. My guess i...

ISO 9141-2 (5 baud init, 10.4 kbaud)

Before I start, I wanted to know if anyone has coded a Library for the ISO 9141-2 (5 baud init, 10.4 kbaud) protocol?
If not I'm going to start on one but didn't want to burn any cycles if someone else already made progress.
Thanks!

Re: Request for new IDF based development

What Operating System? I didn't know an IDE was released by Espressif or are you talking about the Visual Studio integration?
