Re: Looping in a simple task

I decided to rebuild my application again without reference to what I did before ... this time it worked perfectly. This tells me that I must have messed up my previous build technology. I don't know what I might have done ... but that is no longer important as I now have a recipe that works and hav...

Re: how to query UDP transmit status

Howdy,
I am not an expert on UDP processing ... but may I ask some questions?

Are you saying that you ARE getting a callback indication that indicates the UDP datagram was sent? If so ... would than not be the indication as to when it is safe to send the next packet?

Re: Receive http data larther than 800 byte will cause reboot.

What does your application look like that is causing the problem? Do you have a simple sample that can be used for testing and recreate?

Re: what is this error ?

Howdy, I believe you may find that there was a similar question asked a while back which can be found here along with a potential answer. http://bbs.espressif.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1339 I think it is important to realize that there is a wealth of knowledge already written down and can be found...

Re: does ESP8266 supply stroul strncasecmp() and stroul ()?

Please find attached a ZIP file containing the source code of the two functions you were looking for. I have tested that they compile cleanly on my ESP8266. Please study them and compare them to what you had previously and see if you can't understand what was changed to get them working so that your...

Re: does ESP8266 supply stroul strncasecmp() and stroul ()?

I think the trick here is to realize that the function called strncasecmp() and stroul() are speced out in posix: http://pubs.opengroup.org/onlinepubs/009695399/functions/strcasecmp.html http://pubs.opengroup.org/onlinepubs/009695399/functions/strtoul.html Which means that we fully understand their ...

Re: does ESP8266 supply stroul strncasecmp() and stroul ()?

Googling those functions, I found source code listings here: http://www.opensource.apple.com/source/tcl/tcl-10/tcl/compat/strtoul.c http://www.opensource.apple.com/source/gcc/gcc-1640/libiberty/strncasecmp.c If they are not part of any existing library, you can always build your own utility library ...

In a sample I wrote, I coded a vTaskDelay in my loop but unfortunately, the WDT still fires ... see the following post:

Re: RTOS_SDK V1.3 do not fit my code any more

Here is what I use in my app: MEMORY { dport0_0_seg : org = 0x3FF00000, len = 0x10 dram0_0_seg : org = 0x3FFE8000, len = 0x14000 iram1_0_seg : org = 0x40100000, len = 0x8000 irom0_0_seg : org = 0x40210000, len = 0x7C000 } Of course, this means that I have to load my code into 0x10000 in flash as opp...
