Re: IDF_PATH for ESP32 and ESP8266

Never mind - resolved

I have added a line to the project make file which exports the proper IDF_PATH string.

Removed it as a Global ENV variable.

Works great now

IDF_PATH for ESP32 and ESP8266

I'm using Windows for development I installed the IDF for ESP32 ... which requires and ENV variable IDF_PATH I'm attempting to install the ESP8266_RTOS - IDF which also requires an ENV of IDF_PATH But ... the two paths are not the same. How do you recommend the use of both the ESP32 IDF and ESP8266 ...

LWIP - RTOS 2.0 SDK - seems to stall on receive

Using RTOS SDK 2.0 Using "Select" for non-blocking socket read with select timeout of 10 sec I have many wireshark captures that show the problem - I'm trying to figure out root cause. Downloading a 10 meg file from a web site. 50% of the time all goes well. The other 50% - (based on my de...

Why RTOS SDK have less Rom Pointers than the Non-OS SDK

I writing a bootloader for myself and wanted access to 4 rom based functions. They appear in the NON-OS SDK file eagle.rom.addr.v6.ld: The functions are: ets_printf, ets_putc, SPIRead, and SPIWrite. The last two are very important since they are required for bootloader operation. The two "ets_&...

RTOS WebSocket

I have written my own WebSocket software and wish to use it in the RTOS SDK. The issue I'm having is that it seems the core RTOS implementation is intercepting my WebSocket connection and response data and acting on it instead of just just treating it as HTTP data. On the ESP Debug Port, I see debug...

Embedded WROOM02 - Never Jumps to User code

I've embedded a WROOM2 on to another cpu board. The second cpu does the programming. I have implemented the protocol used by most of the stand-alone flashers (esptool.py) - I do not think I have an issue there. I am using the latest RTOS SDK with a simple program that acquires AP's as a test. Reset ...

Re: RTOS 1.5 + wifi_station_scan --- BUG???

ESP_Xutao: Thank you for the link to the reset/exception document. My application does nothing but call wifi_station_scan(NULL, scan_done); wifi_station_scan(NULL, scan_done) is not called within user_init but from a user task hence system initialization should be complete. Since wifi_station_scan i...
