Usable gpio pins

Is it possible to have a trustable list of gpio pin that can be used without crashing the cpu? Also a list of non usable gpio would be nice to have handy.

I am using nodemcu board with almost all gpio available (which is a nonsense) and tons of info where 50% is in contradiction with the remaining 50%. Got really lost!

Any help will be really appreciated.
