Can't connect to ESP8266 as access point?

Hi All,

I am using the ESP8266 as an Access Point, and the network is visible to all my devices (PC, ios phone, android phone). Problem is when I try to connect to the ESP8266 access point, it fails. The PC fails every time, my iPhone6 can some times connect (but it is rare), and my android phone writes: authentication failed.

I have no password on the network, and are running AT Version 0.5 on the ESP8266.

Has anyone else seen this?

Did you download blank.bin as initialization ?

Please use Espressif official Flash Download Tool to download bin files into Flash.

If your problem is still unsolved, please provide the captured picture of ESP Flash Download Tool while downloading.

Now the network doesn't appear on my devices either.. I use AT+CWMODE=3.

Please select "8Mbit" at the "FLASH SIZE" area on the tool.
