RTOS RAM usage

Hi,

I read in the datasheet "0A-ESP8266_Datasheetv4.3" that RAM size < 36kB using SDK in station mode. The datasheet is dated from June,1 2015.

Later, you released a 8kB ram optimization. such as the actual RAM size should be < 44kB. Is that correct?

Another thing I can't find in the datasheet is the RTOS_SDK memory usage and size. Could you give me an idea of the remaining ram for my applications?

Hi,

No matter non-OS SDK or RTOS SDK, there is an API : system_get_free_heap_size to get the size of remaining ram.

For RTOS SDK, it is about 50KB now.

For non-OS SDK, we are going to release a new version of which the size of remaining ram is also about 50KB.
