Handling the debounce

Hi all,
is there any idea to handle debounce key in smart plug ?
i mean for saving cost adding debounce code is better, bu maybe if there is some idea in hardware side is better.
Anyone has some solluion related this debounce ?
or anyone ever applied adding switch and measure how this ESP8266 handle the debounce ?
