又没有关于boot mode的说明

ESP8266在reset的时候可以从UART0收到类似
ets Jan 8 2013,rst cause:2, boot mode:(3,6)
的信息。
能不能官方说明一下，rst cause, boot mode的各个数字是什么意思。
比如我看过
boot mode:(3,6) (3,7) 是flash boot
boot mode: (1,6) (1, 7) 是 UART download
还有一些奇怪的数字比如(3,0)就不知道怎么回事了

reset cause 1: normally during a Power-On-Reset or by CHIP_PD transient
reset cause 2: normally during a reset caused by a nRESET transient
reset cause 4: normally during a reset by wdt reset

Yes this is as close as I can get.

So boot mode (x, y)
x is 0-7 according to Strapping page/
What is y?

Hi baosi,

Please check this document 0D a little further, just below the MTDO/GPIO0/GPIO2 for boot_sel[2:0], to find that there is also a list of SDIO boot sel[2:0] by SD_D3/SD_D2/SD_D0, which give valus to the y here.

Meanwhile, it should be easy for you to make experiemnts to confirmation your guess if any. I recomend you to do your own experiment to valid it. I am not a guy from espressif.
