i create my project. Wifi relay but i have problem relay.
5v songle chinese relay and connect LCD TV. Relay is HIGH then ESP-12 resetting.
my connection:
ESP-12
VCC ---------------------> 3.3v (AMS1117)
GND ---------------------> GND
CH_PD 10k --------------> 3.3v
GPIO0 10k ---------------> 3.3v
RST pin 10k -------------> 3.3v
GIO5 2222N Transistor -> Relay module IN
Relay module
VCC ----------------------> 5v
GND ----------------------> GND
what is my problem?

If if occurs when the relay turns off, the high voltage kick back from the coil may be resetting the ESP8266. Is there a reverse polarity diode across the relay coil?

i have solder RST pin to button and header pin.
if relay NO and NC null RELAY HIGH RELAY LOW no problem always smoothly
but relay NO and NC 220v insert laptop adapter or tv or etc. RELAY HIGH esp reset.
desolder header pin and button RST pin no solder nothing problem solved.
RST pin always null no problem.

Kindly reminded that GPIO5 is in input state without any internal pullup or pulldown, during reset. That is, GPIO5 and 2222N transistor input are floating during reset and the 2222N output to Relay may cause unexpected behavior as you mentioned. Therefore, recomended to add an external pull resistence to the GPIO5/2222N in, providing a determined status during reset.

For EXT_RSTB,in order to avoid reset caused by external interference, the trace of EST_RSTB is generally required to be short, and external RC circuit is recommended and should be placed close to EXT_RSTB pin.
Besides, for relay application, AC Ground and DC Ground should be separated and connected via a wire.
Thanks.
