there is any chance for getting whole source code (no blobs) for ESP8266 HW?
I think that open source community may boost Espressif chip capabilities much more then even best developers at Espressif.

Yes. There is some source code in SDK. But there are few modules in binary format cause of NDA.

do you really, that user all over the world buy esp8266 modul and test "for" espressif and tell them bug in a report and be there jumping jack?

why espressif not think comunity and open the src for better "understanding"?

espressif is go on in community makes currently very unpopular and incredible.

think, that developer silent in the future and keep the bugs themselves.
