Hi,
I am trying to power-On my ESP-8266-01 chip with Li-CR2032 battery (coin cell with 3.0V & 220mAH).
Esp is getting powered on, but within 30 seconds battery is getting drained.
After debugging further, I found that if CH_PD pin is pulled high, battery goes down very fast,
but if I keep CH_PD dangling, battery is somewhat stable ( but no Wi-Fi from Esp).
can you let me know if I am trying something wrong here?
Any insight will be helpful.
thanks,
Rupak

Hi,
CH_PD, chip enable pin of ESP8266EX, is active high and cannot be dangled, otherwise its electrical level will be uncertain.
For battery application, you can refer to below link for details.
