udp callback problem.

Postby nice72 » Tue Apr 21, 2015 9:10 pm

Hi,

We have developed a mesh system using esp8266.

At the time of all development is complete, We found a critical problem.

If ESP8266 received a retransmitted UDP packet, udp received callback function is called two times.
(*. received two udp packet's payload is exactly the same in the callback function )

There are several ways to solve the problem. But our application solution need a large memory pool.

I think that this problem should be solved in the wireless driver.

Did you already know this problem?

If you require more information to solve problems, I will immediately send you the information that you want.

Thanks,
Peter

Hi,

"retransmitted UDP packet" you mean 802.11 retransmit ? or 802.3 retransmit ?

can you offer the capture packets logs for debugging ?
