Get the IP address

I can see how to set a fixed IP in the ESP (SDK 1.4) and how to read the RSSI - all of which is great.

But can someone show me a C example of retrieving the current IP address. There's info in the SDK manual for a function which returns a struct with info - but unless I'm missing something there is no example of use??
