I find that SDK v1.4 receive http data will cause chip reboot.

What does your application look like that is causing the problem? Do you have a simple sample that can be used for testing and recreate?

I'm using SDK 1.4 and have HTTP POST handlers that receive ~300KB requests, so it's definitely possible. You should look at some sample projects, such as esp-httpd for how to do it...
