Serial Buffer / Network Buffer

Hi

Is there anyway to increase these 2 buffers, serial read and write and wificlient read and write slows right down and then crashes when dealing with lots of data.....

Lots of spare memory available to be use, would be very useful, think they are at 256 bytes or thereabouts now ?
