How to Start with ESP8266

Dear Members,

I am new to this WIFI development. I bought ESP8266 and i checked how it works. Everything is working fine.
Now my question is I want to connect this WIFI module to my controller. I am little bit confused how to start with this.

CAn you please help me out how to start with this?

There are lots of examples for Arduino. I'd look there to get an idea of how to work with a controller. The support community is also better for beginners.

Thanks for your Valuable suggestion. I saw many Examples. But I need to know how to use ESP8266 with Controller.
Just a Simple UART transmit and Receive.

i.e. I need to send Data from Controller[UART] to WIFI Module. From this Module i need to get data to my Putty which is been continuosly transmitted by my controller.

CAn you give me suggestions on how to start with this?
