Using SDK 1.5.2 with an ESP8266 with 4Mbit flash. (and also I'am new to the ESP but not to embedded)
Router is TP-Link TL-WR841ND v8
Firmware: DD-WRT v24-sp2 (12/22/14) std
My 0x00000.bin is ca 27kbyte
My 0x40000.bin is ca 190kbyte
I have three diffrent routers/AP. ESP8266 can connect to the two other (D-link and Cisco).
In DD-WRT i tried lot of diffrent settings, AES+TKIP, AES, TKIP and G, N, GN modes
I tried to use WPA instead of WPA2.
Nothing worked. I always get "STATION_CONNECTING (1)" followed by "STATION_WRONG_PASSWORD (2)"
The password is correct, I am sure.
I'am running wifi_station_get_connect_status() every 500ms. And I usually only get one STATION_WRONG_PASSWORD (2)
before it returns to reporting 1 as in connecting again. With some settings on router i get 2 continously.
The only time I successfully got the ESP to connect to the TPLink was when I disabled authentication completly at the router.
Any ideas?
Best regards
Mikael

Seems like it successfully connects after trying a very long time, somewhere inbetween 5 to 20 minutes.
Quite strange behaviour?
Good signal quality and signal to noice ratio according to DD-WRT. Link is at 2/1Mbit. Some kind of powersave?
Best regards
