Need help flashing AT_1.5.3 on custom ESP8266 w/ 128Mb flash
Postby Cloudwraith » Tue May 03, 2016 4:19 am
I've flashed plenty of ESP-01 8Mbit boards but I recently purchased an Arduino based PLC which has an ESP-02 on it with 128Mbit flash. I looked in the ESP8266_AT Instruction Set_EN_v1.5.3.pdf but it only goes up to 32Mb. I'm using the 2.3 version of the flash tool. Can someone help me pick the proper user1 binary for AT1.5.3 and the memory location for it?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Hi,
Sorry that it can only support 32Mbit at most now.
You need to use your 128Mbit flash as a 32Mbit flash, only the first 32Mbit size is available.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks for the response, do I use the 32Mbit option or the 32Mbit-C1 option?

I tried the 32Mbit-C1 option with the following binaries and locations and everything appears to be working:
