Hi There,
Is it possible to use WPS when ESP8266 is in AP+STA Mode? I would like that the device tries to check for a WPS router (config) while maintaining a web server (user interface) available. That way the user of the final device could use WPS if available (on his router) but could also connect to the final device directly (AP) and configure it via web interface.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon,
Pedro

Hi There,
The idea is:
If the network connection has not been setup yet - the device will start in AP+STA with a web user interface, so that the end user can connect to the device network (AP) and configure it. However if the end user has a router at home with WPS, it would be very good I we could at the same time enable the WPS config automatically for about 1 minute (after power on). That way the user would be able to try WPS connection (simple) but if not available (or unable) could still connect to the device network (AP) and setup manually. After network setup (Web UI or WPS) the device will only use STA mode (connected to the home router).
Best Regards,

Hi,
Had the same idea - tried that but it doesn't work - WPS works only in STA mode. If it's AP or AP+STA it does not work.
