Is WiFi Direct P2P supported by the SDK?

Hi Espressif,
I am excited when I saw that ESP8266 specs supports WiFi Direct.

However, is it supported by the SDK yet? If yes, which API should I use? I am not able to find any example at the moment. Could you provide some examples?

Sorry that SDK does not support P2P right now..

But we are working on it , it will be supported in the future.

I love the ESP8266 but for using it in a product it would be essential for us to have the WiFi Direct feature.

What is the current state of the WiFi Direct implementation in the SDK?
