Colleagues,
Is there any way to wake up ESP8266 from deep sleep, without using GPIO 16? I have the ESP8266 01 board, that does not expose the pin. Yeah,..saw many enthusiasts that soldered a jumper in the chip, but I can not do that (do not have the tools and skills).
I tried and noticed that after wake up I get
21:27:43.748 -> ets Jan 8 2013,rst cause:5, boot mode:(3,6)
21:27:43.748 ->
21:27:43.748 -> ets_main.c
So, yes the cause 5 is deep sleep, but could not find boot mode:(3,6) . Trying to see if there is any way to "tackle this" with any function within the SDK and avoid using GPIO 16.
Regards,
martin
