When will SmartConfig of EsptouchForAndroid in GitHub update to V2.5?

Postby jinjack » Tue Sep 22, 2015 9:11 am

Hi,

The new SDK now updates to V1.4. When will SmartConfig of EsptouchForAndroid in GitHub update to V2.5 to match the SDK V1.4?
Could the APK be used in situation of SDK V1.4? Thank you.

You can use ESPTouch library in mobile apps to keep users from having to go to a browser, or use AP mode to give it credentials. AP mode is a terrible UI, and is slow. EspTOUCH has some promise in what you potentially never leave your own network, therefore on iOS, and the latest Android, never have to leave your app. Or is the Wifimanager and extension of the SmartConfig stuff?
