Sending String to ESP8266

Postby Amit » Mon Mar 02, 2015 2:51 pm

We are developing an application where in there is a requirement to send the String characters (eg '1x,7juyss') to ESP8266 from Mobile device over the Internet. We have gone through the Cloud API documentation but there is no mention of passing string parameters. Also Data Stream only supports Integer or floating point values.

Can you please provide any insights into how to approach this?

What you need to do is use your esp8266 as wifi AP, and connect your react app to the IP address of the esp8266 AP. Use fetch method to send data to esp8266. I am struggling to write this in a single answer dm me if you need any help.
