Hi,

I am new to Android and was try to generate APK using the source from github in Android Studio. The source opened just fine in Studio but when i try to build the project, no APK is generated and all I get in the log is "All file are up-to-date". Am i missing something or there is a different way of generaing apk from this source code?

I was looking through the source of the APK and could not find any mechanism for port forwarding for over the internet communication. Am I missing something or the there is different technique to communicate over internet?

Hi,

Please refer to the attachment for IOT_Espressif_APK_v0.9.2.apk, if you want to install it on your mobile Android devices.

Please refer to https://github.com/EspressifApp/IOT-Espressif-Android for the source codes of IOT Espressif APK. Please read the user manual carefully before you start developing.

BTW, ESP-TOUCH source codes for both Android and iOS devices (using RTOS SDK and non-RTOS SDK) are now released on https://github.com/EspressifApp. Please read the README.md carefully before developing.

Thanks for your attention.

I download the code from github and import it in Android Studio. Then generate the apk successfully.
Could you check whether you have created a correct Key Store?
You can create a Key Store in Android Studio, select Bulid -> Generate Signed APK -> Create new...
