Hi,
I've searched everywhere, and couldn't find a definitive answer about that.
Datasheet speaks about clamping diodes with a value of 5.8 V, which should mean that inputs ARE 5v tolerant.
But in another page it states that maximum input HI level is IOVDD + 0.3V, so 3.6V on a 3.3 V supply.
Which is the answer ? 5v tolerant or not ?
Are digital inputs 5v tolerant ?

Dear Sir,
IO and digital power supply of ESP8266EX ranges from 1.8V to 3.3V.
We donot recommend you to apply 5V to IO.
Thanks.
