I'm using Windows for development
I installed the IDF for ESP32 ... which requires and ENV variable IDF_PATH
I'm attempting to install the ESP8266_RTOS - IDF which also requires an ENV of IDF_PATH
But ... the two paths are not the same.
How do you recommend the use of both the ESP32 IDF and ESP8266 IDF since both use the same ENV variable but the associated paths are different?
Question ... if my statement is true --- should the ENV variable of the ESP8266 RTOS be different than that for the ESP32?
If so .. I could change all instances of IDF_PATH in the git download to say --- IDF_PATH_8266 but then I would need to modify them every time I did a git update.
Am I wrong in my understanding?
Any comments welcomed.
Thanks.
Joe
